By Car: From Italy, you can reach San Candido via the A22 Brenner freeway. From the north, follow the Bressanone/Val Pusteria exit, continue on the SS49-E66 highway for about 60 km until you reach San Candido. From Austria, however, take the A12 highway to the exit for Lienz, then follow the B100 highway to Alta Pusteria.
By Train: San Candido has a train station well connected to the national and European network. Regional train service connects San Candido with the cities of Fortezza and Lienz in Austria, with stops at several locations in Alta Pusteria.
By Air: The closest airport to San Candido is Bolzano Airport (about 100 km), but the airports of Innsbruck in Austria (about 150 km), Venice Marco Polo (about 190 km), Treviso (about 180 km), and Verona (about 250 km) are equally convenient. From any airport you can take a train or bus, or rent a car to reach San Candido.
