The village sits at about 1,320 metres and is now part of the municipality of San Giovanni di Fassa. The spa is about 7 km from <a href=\"\/trentino\/fassa-valley\/moena\/\">Moena<\/a>, 10 km from <a href=\"\/trentino\/fassa-valley\/canazei\/\">Canazei<\/a>, 40 km from Bolzano and 80 km from Trento. The nearest airport is Bolzano, about 46 km away; Venice, Treviso and Verona are around 2.5 hours by car, Innsbruck a little over 2 hours.<\/p>\n<p>The spa opened at the end of 2016 and belongs to the Italian QC Terme group, which also runs the thermal baths at <a href=\"\/aosta-valley\/pre-saint-didier\/\">Pr\u00e9-Saint-Didier<\/a> near Mont Blanc. It covers more than 4,000 square metres on three levels: indoor and outdoor pools facing the Catinaccio (Rosengarten) massif, saunas, steam baths, relaxation rooms and massages. According to the Fassa Valley tourist board, it uses water from the Alloch sulphur spring in Pozza.<\/p>\n<p>Entry is from age 14 only. It is open all year, so it works in winter after a day on the slopes and in summer after a hike. Below are the main areas as described by the Fassa Valley tourist board and Visit Trentino. Room names change over time, so we leave them out.<\/p>\n<h3>The outdoor pools<\/h3>\n<p>The most photographed part is outside: heated pools with a view of the Catinaccio group. In winter you sit in warm water surrounded by snow, and at sunset the Dolomite walls turn pink. Outside there are also wooden tubs with hydromassage and &#8220;bubbles&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h3>Indoor pools and Japanese baths<\/h3>\n<p>Inside you will find a sensory pool with colour therapy, whirlpools, water cascades for back and shoulders and Japanese-style baths. One sauna is designed after the cellars of Ferrari, the Trento sparkling wine house. Always sit on your towel; the dress rules for each sauna are posted at its entrance.<\/p>\n<h3>Kneipp path and salt rooms<\/h3>\n<p>The Kneipp path alternates warm and cold water for your legs. The salt rooms let you breathe salty air, seated or lying down. The full calendar is on the official website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prices.<\/strong> The official 2026 price list cannot be read automatically, and the figures quoted on blogs and booking sites differ and are undated. So we do not quote prices here: check them on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qcterme.com\/it\/val-di-fassa\/qc-terme-dolomiti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QC Terme Dolomiti website<\/a> before you go. What we can tell you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prices change with the day and season: weekends, holidays and school breaks cost more than weekdays.<\/li>\n<li>There are several ticket types: full day with no time limit, 5 hours, lunch break, evening and late night. Shorter slots are cheaper.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Day Spa&#8221; packages combine entry and a massage, including for two people.<\/li>\n<li>Bathrobe, towel, slippers and the aperitivo are included.<\/li>\n<li>With the Val di Fassa Guest Card, which you get from your accommodation, the tourist board lists 10% off shop products. In 1777 the Avisio river destroyed it; it was rebuilt, then ruined by a fire in the 20th century. In the 1970s the aquifer was traced again, leading to today&#8217;s facilities.
